oh oh yes, a month away!

yuup. I won't be doing the national forest camping, they close labor day, so it's state park camping and from what I have seen, they do camping well. I'll camp for 3 possibly 4 nights, then go see Chris. Camp Wed/Thur/Fri/Sat night. Stay her place Sun/Mon/Tue night. Gotta get a pack rod for the trip. Debating on whether to even bring my laptop. I was thinking about getting a new mackbook for this, but I don't know. Maybe best to wait. Use my PDA for email, but what will I watch movies on while camping? hmmmmm

travel coming soon

yes, soon. Sept 3 flying to COS. I'll get my camping stuff from storage, and head out to the mountains. I'll probably go to the rio grande nat forest and a campground in there. Might be a bit chilly, but hell, I don't care. I'll see if I can rent a brush clearer for the road to my land, and carve out a space on the land as well. If not, that is ok. I may do a drive around CO and camp different every night, or just day trips and head back to camp. Or camp on land after I clear it a bit. it depends on what I get as a car. then up to see Chris in Steamboat. It all is very flexible now. I may not even dump my storage space, I may keep it. It is going to be nice not having to truck all the camping gear home and back out there next year. But.. who knows. Play it by ear the whole trip. I'll just make one motel reservation for my last night, around COS, so I have no big rush that day.

yeah, and lots of pics this time, and no rushing. take my time and do what I want to do. I may even go fishing!
